PSO:BB -- Playing with Strangers is Dirty!

I am not a people person, contrary to what you might hear from certain people. I don't play well with others. I don't like people. My online gaming experiences for the most part have been good and bad. The good predominantly coming from the select few people I play with regularly. The VGL people. Magus, Pent, Arcee, Keldroc, Gus, ZBo, and Riddel. The bad almost always comes from strangers. In games like SOCOM and Halo 2, I can at least shoot them. So you can at least make use of these people, as targets, if nothing more. I learned the hard way that I am not capable of playing games where you can't shoot the idiots. You might be asking yourself why then would I be playing PSO:BB? A game where I can run into potentially thousands of idiots. PSO offers locked games. You can find a nice out of the way lobby where you don't have to deal with people. Our home on PSO: BB is just such a place. Oceanus 8-01. It's the fifth ship, and the eighth lobby on said ship. PSO: BB is popular enough that we share our lobby with a couple other teams, and the occasional stranger. Noir is always around. We always see them coming and going between games. Same deal with Grak. Yesterday I was in the lobby getting ready to make a game when a character named Melinda came out of a game and entered the lobby. She put up the hello icon. I have seen her HUnewearl around pretty much every day since the final, so I actually said hello. This led to us standing in the lobby and talking for ten or fifteen minutes. It eventually got around to what we had to trade. We ended up making a game and making a trade. I was able to get a Cure / Poison and a Gigobooma's Arm for just a Last Survivor. We exchanged guild cards and went on our merry way. Later that night she ended up joining a VH E4 game with Magus and myself. We were playing along, having the usual small talk, lying our asses off like we do, you know how that goes. Magus told her I was female. So what else does one do? I played along. So there we all are in the lobby after a few games talking away. Me pretending to be female. Somehow it ends up on a sexual topic. There I am pretending to be female, discussing penis size preference with some chick in the lobby of Pioneer 2 on PSO. This goes on for a considerable time and I'm looking for a way to ditch her and get to playing some more. Magus comes up with his excuse that he's going to be late forwork unless he takes off now. He leaves me there. She's still chatting away. I'm still a chick. Some time goes by and I'm complaining about her in the VGL. Magus comes back on to save me, and comes up with the story of Dave being in a car accident and that he was going to go see him in the hospital and I should come along. I agree. Magus leaves. I'm about to say I've got to go. The chick asks "Isn't that a long drive?", the story would have worked not for the fact that we'd forgotten that we gave fake locations. Me being in LA, Magus in Oakland. So there I am caught in a lie on PSO pretending to be a chick with another chick who was strongly suggesting we have some sort of virtual IM sex with the teasing of webcam potential. So what am I to do? I come clean. Tell her I'm a guy. I attempt to turn the tables. I'm going full court press. I ask for a photo, hoping to scare her off. Next thing I know, I'm back in a game with her and she puts up the URL for a photo. It's her in a bikini bottom, lying on her stomach, topless on a deck getting some sun. Well, holy crap aren't I in the Twilight Zone now? Next thing I know I'm trading an Elysion+9 for shot of her in the same bikini bottom with her ass prominently displayed. This was easily the weirdest, and most surreal gaming experience I've ever had. Now I'm scared of what happens next should I run into this chick again. As for my Phantasy Star 2 progress, I've picked up the fourth member of the group and have arrived in Oputa after clearing the Tower of Nido. I'll be heading off toward the Biosystems Lab next time.
